Use the same username and password that has been setup for Blackboard, student email and wi-fi access. 

After intital login, you MUST enter 4 security questions and their answers.

It is highly RECOMMENDED that you change your password after initial login. 

Continue to the myGadsdenState portal home page.

From here a student can connect to the Online Student System, Blackboard and student email along with having access to portal features such as our news feed, announcements and your personal profile page.

What if I don't know my username?

• Login to the Online Student System from www.gadsdenstate.edu.  Your username is listed under the "Change Address/Email address" option.  Your username is the portion of your student email address leading up to "@"; NOT your entire student email address.

What if I forgot my password?

• Your default password is your birthdate in mm/dd/yy format. Default passwords will be 6 digits.
• After initial login, you will setup security questions in order to reset your password if needed.

Single sign-on:

• The portal will allow you to launch other Gadsden State applications from the portal only having to sign in once.  No more juggling multiple usernames and passwords for each system.
• Currently the portal allows you to launch the Online Student System, Blackboard and your student email account.
• The portal will allow you to manage your password and setup security questions that will enable you to reset your password if forgotten. 

Announcements, News, Information and our own Social Network:

• The portal enhances communication with announcements and provides a connection to the Gadsden State News feed.
• Create and maintain your own profile page, add and keep up with friends and join community groups.  You even have the ability to use your profile as an ePortfolio that can be set to be viewed by the public and indexed by popular search engines!
